The Raven King UK Tour

I’m delighted to report that I’ll be doing three tour dates in England & Scotland (sorry, no Ireland/ Wales this time). I was particularly interested in seeing if I could secure a venue in the north, and I’m really pleased to have managed it, with the help of Scholastic UK. Here they are:

July 31st, London. At the Young Adult Literature Festival.

August 1, Manchester. At the Deansgate Waterstones.

August 2, Glasgow. At the imposing Mitchell Library.

They’re all ticketed — I don’t know how fast they will go, but the U.S. ticketed dates went pretty fast. I would be expeditious if it were me, just to be safe.

See you there.

Hello Maggie, maybe you won’t read this but, I have to try it. I’m Sabrina and im from Venezuela. I’m a big fan of your books, I speak English and read it but not quite well as I want it, so, wen knew that the last book of the Raven Cycle was going to be out this year I freaked out, but the months pass and there’s no signs of the book will be able in Spanish… I hope that it will be in Spanish and if you can be so kind to tell us if this book is going to be out in Spanish I’ll be very grateful. I love your books and I send you all my love and support.

Hi Maggie, just finished Shiver!!!! Amazing, loved it and I did cry…Me and my daughter, 9 listened to it on an audiobook, obviously skipping the part where Grace and Sam made love. but the way you described the affection between Grace and Sam – It was so beautiful, I just had to share it with my daughter. your book was totally unpredictable and the end…gosh, total surprise. Thank you so much, I am now ever more in love with my husband! Kind regards, Mariette, Cape Town

Just found your books and am reading book two of the raven cycle.

““At least put shoes on,” Gansey replied somberly. “And a hat, if you must. It looks like rain.”
“Tut tut,” Blue said, glancing up to verify”

The A.A.Milne reference just about made my morning!

My name is Kimberly Rich and I’m from Halifax County, Virginia. Halifax is a rural area where students very seldom get the chance to meet an author. Halifax Education Association for the last three years have invited authors to read to the children, talk with them about the writing process, what they love about books, sign their books and take photos. Fountain book store from Richmond provide the books for the event. I know you are very busy, but we would like to know if you would be available February 25th? Since we are a nonprofit organization we do not have a lot of funding, we will do our best to pay your normal fee, but I’m afraid we do not have the funding to pay what you deserve. What is normal fee? We would love to have you!

PS I’m sure you get these all the time, but you are my favorite author. I am dyslexic and growing up I hated to read. When I was in my last few years of high school and beginning of college my sister, Kristi Austin from James River Writers, gave me Scorpio Races. I have never read a book that made me feel and smell what was being described. As I read I could feel the water spray and smell the houses. It was incredible. Whether you can come or not you are still an amazing writer and I hope to meet you one day.
