Folks have been asking me what the actual release date is for quite awhile and I’ve been holding off until I got a definitive answer from Scholastic: it’s 4/26/16.

If you want to pre-order a signed book with an illustrated Something Extra (more about that later), Fountain Bookstore is the place to go: http://www.fountainbookstore.com/autograph-maggie.

What made you write this series? Especially the first book? Sorry for asking I’m doing this as my English assignment. But I’m really looking forward to read The Raven King!

Hi Maggie, I am a fan of your Raven Cycle from Poland. I have just read the Polish translation and I want to read the books in English. Generally speaking, I loved the cycle. It was brilliantly written. At least the first three books… And this is what I wanted to talk to you about, namely what you did in the last volume. I will be brutally honest, but you destroyed the book with the last volume. It is not only my opinion, but also many other readers, from what I’ve been able to find on the internet.
I know that the book has been very successful, but in my opinion it could have been much better. Maybe my opinion is not important here, because I am not the target of your writing – I am your age and I have a PhD degree in literature. But maybe you should think about rewriting the last volume and adding some chapters. Thank you for the world you created in the The Raven Cycle, because it lives in my head and in my heart. I don’t think you should change anything in the plot, the plot is fine. There are some parts, however, that are missing from the book.
I’m not sure if you want to know what my ideas are, but I would happily write about it in an email, not here on the internet. But I can’t find your email anywhere, so if you wish to, please answer or write me at zegarowapani@gmail.com
    Many hugs!
